Every leisure attraction needs to have public liability insurance in place. This protects them and members of the public if things were to go a bit pear shaped and a lawsuit ensues. The London Eye's policy, provided by ACE Europe, is for £5 million. Kind of handy to know when you're over 300 feet off the ground!
